Lens on Climate Change: Making Climate Meaningful Through Student-Produced Videos
This publication was an output of an ongoing collaboration called Lens on Climate Change (LOCC). In Spring 2014, Beth Osnes and Max Boykoff worked with colleagues Anna Gold, Susan Buhr Sullivan and David Oonk from the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES) as well as Lesley Smith of Boulder Valley School District. Students from the ENVS 3173/THTR4173 'Creative Climate Communication' worked with middle and high school strudent groups from schools in the Front Range of Colorado to interpret themes in climate and environment from each of their perspectives, and produce companion films to show at CU Boulder's Old Main auditorium on February 27.
