A Dog Loves Mango- Lighting The Way
Compelling description of the who, what, where, when, how, why? This short sketch took place in an airport security where Clara was being searched for illegal substances. She had been stopped by one of the airport's highly trained dogs when he licked her shoes. Clara is sure she has nothing on her and questions Jeff and Lucretia, his assistant, if she deserves to be stopped and how well-trained their dogs really are. Lucretia confesses that the dogs once stopped a friend of hers who was carrying a rib for some art project. This spurs a conversation regarding the ecological impacts of eating meat and how it harms the Amazon jungle. Then as they continue to discuss, Clara confesses that she has dried mango on her but in the form of mango leather. This leather was used to make her shoes (which are being inspected). They then conclude that perhaps the dog licked the mango causing her to be stopped similarly to how he stopped the person with the rib. Since Clara's results came back negative, she is then free to go.
