Room 384 University Memorial Center (UMC) CU Campus
Euclid parking garage is under construction, give yourself more time to find parking or consider taking the Skip bus that lets you off right at the UMC on 1669 Euclid Ave., corner of Broadway and Euclid Ave.
CU students of a course entitled "Performance for Resilience" are working with various Boulder County partners to discover how performance can serve as a tool towards resilience. Through performance, a city can know itself at a deeper level, find an active forum for resolving differences, rehearse new social possibilities before resources are invested, celebrate itself, and can communicate itself beyond its borders.
-Guests who join us will learn and experience active, embodied strategies for processing through areas of concerns and possibilities for your organization
We are defining resilience as the capacity of communities to function, so that the people living and working in that community-- particularly those who are under-resourced and vulnerable—survive and thrive no matter what social stresses or climate shocks come their way. As a part of our Boulder County community, we are interested in exploring and creating ways in which performance can help your organization increase its capacity for resilience. Check out BoCo Strong.
Join us for this fun and interactive event that will be entertaining and insightful. Great snacks, great folks, good fun.
