Global Water Dances is an international, biennial day of free outdoor engagements around the world that raise awareness of local and global water issues through performance and education.
Join us for Boulder’s 3rd Global Water Dances!

Artists, engineers, and international health educators are planning a special, multidisciplinary event for you that is part performance, part workshop.

You can expect to:

  • Spend about 1.5 hours outside in a beautiful location along the Boulder Creek (You'll be standing, sitting, moving, learning, working with each other, and witnessing)
  • Have some alone time with the creek
  • Meet new people engaged with protecting water in a variety of ways

We hope you'll leave inspired, connected to like-minded community, and more educated around your relationship with water!

This is a FREE, FAMILY FRIENDLY, and HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE event.

The Details:
Saturday, June 24, 9:30am & 4:30pm. Please register here so we know how many people to expect at each time.

About our Collaborators:
Maji Safi Group, a Boulder-based non-profit organization, educates and empowers women leaders in rural Tanzania to teach their communities about proper water sanitation techniques. These practices significantly avert hospital visits and are having a powerful positive impact on community health. Maji Safi's Co-Founder and President, Bruce Pelz, will be with us on the 24th. (Watch videos about their inspiring work using music & dance!)

Members of Rocky Mountain Professional Chapter of Engineers Without Borders recently volunteered their time to design and construct a water transportation system for a rural indigenous mountain community in Guatemala. Leah Pope and other members will be with us on the 24th, leading us in a water engineering game.
